Meet Abby
Reform was founded by Abby Cooney. She is a fully qualified physiotherapist and pilates instructor from the UK, passionate about encouraging health and wellness to all she treats.
She is specialised in treating musculoskeletal conditions and has trained in medical acupuncture with the AACP and can provide deep tissue massage.
Abby moved to Antigua in 2018 following a career where she worked in two of Londons most prestigious hospitals treating adults and paediatrics with an array of musculoskeletal complaints. Alongside her physiotherapy work, she has a vast amount experience in providing group and individualised pilates sessions, including ante and post natal.
She is trained in all levels of APPI mat work and equipment pilates and has been teaching for 9 years in the UK, Australia and Antigua.
In 2021, Abby was accepted onto a Master of Science degree at the University College of London (UCL). She commenced study in ‘Sports Medicine, Exercise and Health’ in September 2021 and continues the degree remotely while working from Antigua. She envisages to complete the degree within the next 3 years.
Meet Shanique
We are so pleased to welcome Shanique Peters to Reform Health Antigua.
Shanique is a Physiotherapist with a BSc. (Hons) from the University of the West Indies, Mona.
Shanique is able to see patients with any musculoskeletal issues as well as providing deep tissue massages. She wishes to pursue further studies in Women’s Health.
Outside of work, she is involved in church and community activities and is passionate about her family, friends and encouraging self-care and good health.
