What is physiotherapy?

Physiotherapy is a service that promotes, maintains and restores health through physical assessment, diagnosis, education, rehabilitation, disease prevention and health promotion. 

As a physiotherapist, I offer stand-alone treatments when indicated or more commonly rehabilitation programmes for the long term management of conditions. I will often refer patients to other medical or clinical services when necessary to ensure you reach your goals.
